Gay Marriages....let's do it!!
I am duly authorised by law to solemnise marriages according to law.
Before you are joined in marriage, in our presence, I am to remind you of the solemn and binding nature of the relationship into which you are about to enter.
Marriage, according to law in Australia, is the union of a man and a woman, to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered for life.
Congratulations New Zealand for changing the Act in your country. Now Australia let's follow their lead and change it too!
Marriage, according to law in Australia, is the union of a man and a woman,a man to a man, a woman to a woman to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered for life.
Love and commitment, respect and loyalty, friendship and trust are all reasons to get married and if two people share each other's love, are soul mates and walk in each other's shadows then they have the right to be legally united regardless of their gender.
I vote for same sex marriage!!
Be on the right side of history.
Every celebration is special, so too yours can be regardless of gender. Each of my ceremonies are warm and personal. At the moment a Commitment ceremony is only allowed in NSW between same sex couples until everyone wakes up to themselves and realise that love does not judge only people do. My Commitment ceremonies are the same as a wedding ceremony apart from the legal components. Vows can be said to each other, special readings, a ring warming or blessing of the hands or perhaps a hand fasting ritual. Fathers can lovingly present their daughter/son to the person they love and music can be played throughout the ceremony, at the time of the signing of the Commitment register and certificate and when the big announcement of the couple to their guests.
I have had the honour of officiating some beautiful Commitment ceremonies. I cannot wait until the day I can do it when our country makes it legal.
warm regards guys

Same sex marriage LEGAL in New Zealand!
hey Guys
Great news tonight.
Same sex marriage in New Zealand is now legal! Congratulations!
Now let's do the same in Australia
I vote for it!!
The Marriage Act 1961 has to be read during the ceremony.
I am duly authorised by law to solemnise marriages according to law.

I have officiated some beautiful same sex commitment ceremonies and these couples have the right to show their loved ones, friends and the world that they too understand that marriage is for the solemn and binding nature of their relationship.
Love does not discriminate, only people do. If you have love in your life no matter what your gender then your life should be celebrated and your union be blessed and be as one through the sanctity of marriage.
I am excited at the prospect that hopefully our country will see that there is an overwhelming desire of most of it's population to change the marriage act to include same sex unions just as New Zealand has done.

take care guys
